SBRC will host the workshop ‘RE: Start Up’ on September 23rd. The workshop’s focus will be learning Social Business cases, identifying issues in current business, and finding out ways to make the business more profitable. It will be a great opportunity for organizations or business operators who aim for business restructuring.

Professor Okada used to work for NTT as an in-house lawyer and was involved in a lot of international business negotiating with industry leaders such as Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. He will give the lecture “Introduction to Yunus Social Business”. His lecture will be followed by a lecture regarding a case study of a Yunus Social Business company that Professor Okada incubated called Human Harbor. The company serves as a social rehabilitation through industrial recycling business. The final lecture will focus on the Business Model Campus which details nine building blocks such as “Value propositions”, “Customer segments” and “Revenue streams” that can help visualize your business.
